Batabano Junior Parade Grand Cayman

Cayman Carnival Junior Batabano is a family-friendly festival for the islands’ youth. Introduced in 2002, this colourful cultural showcase marks its anniversary this year! Junior Carnival has grown from a small program that preceded the adult parade to its very own one-day event.

Junior Batabano’s objective is to provide a family-friendly environment for Cayman’s youth to enjoy the spirit of carnival in their own parade through George Town, on their own weekend prior to the adult parade.

The Family Fun Day activities kick off at 2pm on the grounds of the Old Glass House in town. The parade starts at 4pm from the same location and circles around town, returning back to the Glass House where the junior masqueraders cross the stage and perform choreographed dances to the delight of judges, friends, and family as they compete for coveted awards,

The event ends at 6pm and the Glow Teen Jam will start at 7pm.
